Growing Together in Faith
St. Anthony of Padua School endeavours to educate its students in a warm, caring learning Faith-based community. The staff, parents, students, and parishioners work together for the good of the whole community. We provide a rich environment in which our students are encouraged to explore and develop their talents in a holistic way.
We strive to help students develop into well-rounded children with vigorous work habits and a strong sense of social responsibility. We place an emphasis on the virtues of respect for oneself as well as reverence for others.
The school supports parents as the primary educators of their children. In order to provide such support, we try to emphasize the importance of communication regarding not only the development of students, but of school programs, and special events. Home –school communication is enhanced through weekly newsletters, class web pages accessed through the school website, as well as through phone-calls, e-mails, and student planners.
St. Anthony of Padua elementary school is a member of the Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (CISVA). We are part of St. Anthony of Padua parish (stanthonysvancouver.org). We are operated locally by its Parish Education Committee in accordance to the policies of the CISVA.
