Parent Participation

The Parent Participation Program is an important part of our school. The work of parent volunteers enriches our community and helps offset operational costs. The work we do together helps build community and enlivens the learning environment for our students.

Each family is required to complete 45 hours of participation each year or a family may choose to pay the non-participation fee of $500.

There are many different types of parent participation activities:

School Programs
Playground Supervision, Back to School Reception, Classroom Parents,  Seekers New Student Pancake Breakfast, Hot Lunch Program, Agape Street Ministry (Halloween Candy Drive), Library, Blessings in a Box (Clothing Drive), Recycling, Tale of the Tape (Food Bank Drive), Office Helper,  June Fun day, Book Fair, Emergency Preparedness, PEC Member, Miscellaneous

Fundraising
Back to School Barbeque, Money in the Bag (Canadian Diabetes),  Walkathon, Spring Raffle, Santa Pictures, Miscellaneous, Seekers’ Social, Yearbook
